Overview

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was the first S series phone with the S Pen built into the body, effectively replacing the Galaxy Note.

Built-in S Pen

Earlier Ultras supported a stylus sold separately. On a refurbished Galaxy S22 Ultra the S Pen slots into the phone itself, so it is always there and always charged, for handwriting, annotation and precise editing.

Cameras

A 108MP main sensor at f/1.8 with optical image stabilisation and laser autofocus, two stabilised telephoto lenses at 3x and genuine 10x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide covering 120 degrees. The 40MP front camera records 4K, and video reaches 8K at 24fps.

Display

The 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X resolves QHD+ at 1440 x 3088, adapts up to 120Hz and peaks at 1750 nits, behind Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Everyday use

The 4nm Exynos 2200 with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a 5000mAh battery at 45W wired and 15W wireless, IP68 water resistance, stereo speakers tuned by AKG and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, at 228g.
