The Apple Watch Ultra is built for conditions the standard Watch is not, in a 49mm aerospace grade titanium case with a sapphire crystal front and a 3000 nit display.

Durability

Titanium resists corrosion and impact far better than aluminium, and sapphire crystal is second only to diamond for scratch resistance. WR100 water resistance with EN13319 dive certification means a refurbished Apple Watch Ultra is rated for recreational diving, not merely swimming.

Battery

Up to 42 hours of normal use, or 72 hours in Low Power Mode. That is nearly double the standard Watch and the difference between charging daily and charging twice a week.

Sensors and navigation

ECG, blood oxygen, hypertension notifications and Sleep Score are joined by a depth gauge and a water temperature sensor. Dual frequency GPS tracks accurately among buildings and under tree cover, and satellite connectivity supports Emergency SOS, Messages and Find My beyond mobile coverage.

Display

The LTPO3 OLED reaches 3000 nits, the brightest screen Apple fits to any device, remaining readable in direct sunlight. Apple’s S10 chip drives it with 64GB of storage on watchOS 26.
