Overview

The Apple iPhone 12 was the generation that brought OLED, 5G, MagSafe and Ceramic Shield to the standard iPhone, and it is the value turning point in the range.

Display

The 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED resolves 1170 x 2532 at 460 ppi with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, a considerable step up from the LCD of the iPhone 11. Ceramic Shield glass protects it, which Apple rates for four times better drop performance.

Cameras

A 12MP main camera opens to f/1.6 with sensor-shift stabilisation, joined by a 12MP ultrawide covering 120 degrees. A refurbished iPhone 12 records 4K 60fps video in Dolby Vision HDR, which no phone at this price did before it.

Charging

MagSafe arrived with this generation, so magnets align a charger to the back at 15W. Wired charging is 20W over Lightning, with 7.5W Qi as a fallback.

Everyday use

Apple’s A14 Bionic with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Face ID, stereo speakers and IP68 water resistance rated to six metres. It weighs 164g.

Every device from GlobeMarket is fully tested before dispatch and covered by our 12-month warranty, with fast tracked delivery across the UK.
