The Samsung Galaxy S23 was the generation Samsung dropped Exynos entirely, shipping the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy worldwide including the UK.

Snapdragon worldwide

For years UK buyers received Exynos chips while other regions got Snapdragon. The S23 ended that split, so a refurbished Galaxy S23 bought here has the same silicon as anywhere else, in a version clocked slightly higher than the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Cameras

A 50MP main camera at f/1.8 with optical image stabilisation, a 10MP telephoto at 3x optical zoom, stabilised, and a 12MP ultrawide covering 120 degrees. The front camera steps up to 12MP, and video records up to 8K at 30fps.

Display and build

The 6.1 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X adapts up to 120Hz and peaks at 1750 nits, behind Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both faces, in an Armor Aluminium frame at 168g.
